2003 Hastings Computers was appointed by
EPSON UK to be one of their EPSON
EXPRESS SERVICE CENTRES. Undergoing
training at the Epson Headquarters our
technical staffs have the ability to
offer solutions to most of your printing
problems.
EPSON
Express brings technical support into
retailers, providing customers with
access to free, face-to-face problem
assessment and advice from EPSON-trained
professionals. Depending on the
diagnosis, you will benefit from simple
trouble-shooting, speedy product repair
or even replacement. Each in-store EPSON
Express Centre will also stock a
comprehensive range of retail
consumables and accessories to get your
printer restocked with ink and paper, or
to upgrade it to match your latest
printing set-up.
How the
EPSON Express Service Centre Works
If you are
experiencing a problem with your new
EPSON Stylus inkjet, simply visit
Hastings Computers which is a local
EPSON Express Service Centre and
EPSON-trained staff will put the
following step-by-step process into
action:
1.
Warranty confirmed. Your proof of
purchase and warranty details will be
confirmed and matched to your printer.
(Where not applicable, alternative
service advice will be provided).
2.
Reported problem investigated. The
printer will be examined and the extent
of the problem and possible causes
assessed.
3. First
possible resolution –problem solved for
original printer. If no service parts or
assembly changes are required, the
problem will be cleared. For driver
related problems, a free copy of the
latest EPSON print driver will be
provided. There will be no fee for
repair or evaluation
4. Second
possible resolution – printer replaced.
If the problem cannot be fixed on the
original printer, a permanent
replacement will be offered
5.
Warranty administration. At the
conclusion of the process, the EPSON
Express service centre will complete a
comprehensive service form, and you will
be asked to sign and confirm your
satisfaction, and to add any additional
comments. All existing proof of purchase
and warranty details will then be
updated accordingly, Backing up the
system - a Fast-track solution
Stocks of
replacement printers will be monitored
and reviewed regularly, but should a
permanent exchange printer not be
available, you will be offered the
following Fast-track solution:
Fast-track
product exchange. A replacement product
will be dispatched from EPSON to the
Express Service Centre.
Please
note that all times and dates for
servicing, repair or replacement are
target times set by Epson. They are not
a guarantee that service, repair or
replacement will be carried out within
the times quoted. Hastings Computers
cannot guarantee that a replacement will
be available should your printer not be
repairable.
